Baby Mast

Baby Dominic had a due date of less than a month after his daddy completed his Masters in Architecture.  You see, Dominic's parents, Krista and Justin had never waited long to take the next step of love together.  They met after college, both moving to the Grand Rapids area where fate brought them together via a small group at their church. Within the next year, they were engaged, then married. And after a few quick years of living the adventure of husband and wife, they decided to start a family.

Krista is one of my best friends, and she has one of the most honest and genuine hearts of anyone I know.  When she loves, she does it intentionally, and with passion.  Her and Justin really bring out the best of each other, and stretch the other to be more of the people that God created them to be.  Fulfilling their gifts, and loving others well. 

Two weeks before Dominic was born, I had the opportunity to take pictures for Krista and Justin and document this special time in their lives.  Baby D is so blessed to have these two fun, loving, and genuine people as his parents.

They were both so excited to meet their little one.  So excited to see who he looked like, so excited to meet his tiny personality, and so excited to become a family of 3! Krista has always been beautiful, but there was something about the anticipation of motherhood that took her to another level. 

                                                                                            

They've always loved each other well.  Justin loving the feistiness of Krista's personality, and the calculated way she operates.  Krista loving the level-headed, yet adventurous ways of Justin.  They learned early on that their love was about finding balance, and they just couldn't wait any longer to share their love with a tiny Mast. 
In the few short weeks between these moments and meeting her tiny baby, Krista shared with me the joys she was looking forward to.  A baby to snuggle, a new life to love, and the opportunity to start a family with a man she adores.

Dominic was born May 25th, weighing in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and 100% perfection.  Pictures of the sweet little boy to come.  Both mom and dad are doing great, and loving their family of 3!
